Thank you Grade 1’s for all your hard work during Term 1. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you all of you and can’t wait for Term 2. Enjoy your holidays and I’m looking forward to hearing about them.
Along with our Easter Bonnet Parade we also had ‘Footy Colours Day’ to raise money for our school fete. It was fantastic seeing so many students dressed up in their teams colours. Mrs de Jong, Mrs McKee, Miss Epskamp and Linda will agree with me that it was a ‘Saintsational’ day for everyone!
Today was a very busy day in Grade 1! We celebrated Easter by making Easter Bonnets and every Grade 1 class performed a song. Well done to everyone who participated, the bonnets looked amazing and so much hard work was put into them. We really enjoyed the songs from each class!
Congratulations 1AD and 1LM on a fantastic circus performance. We were very lucky to have our buddy classes 3JO and 4SF come over and watch us. The afternoon was a lot of fun and was a great way to show some of the different tricks we have learnt while we have been learning about the circus. Mrs McKee and I are so proud!
On Wednesday we had our second session in the kitchen. We made delicious apple tarts. Thank you to our parent helpers and also to the Grade 6’s and Grade 5 students who helped us peel our apples and get our tarts ready. They smelt so good!
